About me

[portfolio_slideshow id=91]

Born in Chicago, raised in Florida, and now resident in East London, I studied Fashion Design in New York at The Fashion Institute of Technology (and painting at The Art Students League).

I spent ten years designing for such companies as Calvin Klein, Banana Republic and Giorgio Armani.

After relocating to London and the birth of my two sons I wrote my book The Seasonal Home.

This lead to a decade of working as a photographic stylist producing and styling stories for Elle Decoration and the Toast women’s fashion catalogue amongst others.

In 2007, after volunteering my skills as a photographer on a charity project in Mozambique for Water Aid, I came back to London clear that I wanted to stay behind the camera lens instead of working in front of it.

My background as a designer, painter and stylist all come into play in my subsequent work as a photographer.

I live in East London with my husband and (sometimes) our three children and Irish Terrier, Guv’.

Our current home, a Georgian vicarage is featured in Country Living. My previous home in a converted furniture factory featured in Elle Decoration and Vogue Living. Please see galleries above.
